Rain, Rain, Here to Stay
It's raining so hard today I'm transported to my childhood when winters in Oregon meant torrential downpour and freezing wind. I called Dad today just to talk about how we haven't had a "fun" rainstorm like this in years and years. It's been raining hard all day, the wind has been insufferable and my poor little umbrella can't take the pressure!
On a happier note, I just completed and handed in a 7-page exegetical (I was performin' my exe-JESUS all night!) paper for Jewish philosophy, took a French midterm and can't wait to relax tonight. Until next week when I have to take my Greek words test. Ugh. Why can't they just write in English?!

It's raining here too and trying quite hard to snow. The little snow we've had has been very wet and then turns to rain, but it's sticking in the "mountains" (ok.. so they're about 600 feet high or so) behind my house. You can see the dusting of snow on the mountaintops.

it snowed in the boston metropolitan area over halloween weekend.
after five (aah!) years in new england, i can honestly say that i hate the snow now.

also, after you talk about turning in a jewish philosophy paper and move onto greek words you should say:
"oy, would it kill you to write in english? but i'm fine, i'll just sit here and translate. it's not like i've got anything better to do with my life, why not."

Woo-hoo!
Real snow today!
Not that crappy half-rain sleety snow that doesn't even stick and melts 10 minutes later. No. This is real, two-inches on the ground, enough to make a snowman and not stopping or melting, snow! I wanted to take a picture but my camera batteries took a crap on me and the 8 or so extra I had lying around are missing. Grrr.
But there's snow!

Hey Patrick - good to talk to you last night
I hate to be the bearer of bad news - but you are TOTALLY wrong on the Final Fantasy XII front. No one anywhere ever has said that that even might be coming out for the XBox360...Eleven is all you get for now. Maybe when they start developing them for the next-gen consoles they'll come out for both, but XII is PS2 only.
Oh, and yay for missy in a tanktop!

Brian, I'll accept defeat on this issue just because it was so good to hear from you! Oh, and because I was totally wrong. But wouldn't it be great if FFXII was coming out on the XBOX360? For all of you who don't know what Final Fantasy is, or don't care, you're missing out!
